The Ebony Soul, also known by the name Erequas, is a key figure and major character in the story, "Highschool DxD: King's Conquest." A being as old as time itself, Erequas is a manifestation of all living creature's inner yearning for chaos, and represents death given physical form. It, alongside the Christian God of the Bible, and Edeas, the Azure Soul, are known as the Wills of Divine Providence.

Appearance Edit

Similarly to the Azure Soul, the Ebony Soul is a being representing chaos and death, and bears a mechanical appearance. It's body is pure machinery with a metal face and glowing golden eyes, along with a pair of red wings atop it's forehead, which are also found on it's throne, placed on either side of the gears. It is surrounded by pieces of its Gears of Decadence, and wears a spiked collar around it's neck, which also carries a tattered black cape flowing from it.

Personality Edit

Not much is known about the Ebony Soul's personality, other than that, according to the Azure Soul, it holds no emotions, not even desires, sans that it believes that death is a natural part of the cycle of life, and thus, it awaits all of creation at the end.
