Variants also known as Modified Humans are genetically altered humans created by Xander Ambrosius.
Summary[]
Xander started to dive into researching the limits of Humans through inhuman experiments through his studies of the traits of Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels after his attack on the Chivalric Order. After his initial tests, he used the flesh and blood of an unknown creature along with the genes from the original Paladins, however, none of the test subjects survived causing their bodies to break down into nothing. Xander later succeeds in creating the first perfect Variant. As shown by Kalin, he gained the power of one of the Paladins as a result of the experiments.
Powers & Abilities[]
Variants are far stronger and durable than when they were Humans as a result of the serum created by using the flesh and blood of the beast. Kalin an incomplete Variant has shown to possess the power of a Paladin such as Takeo via his Touki. And Hebi states that he gained the factor to wield a Holy Sword.
